U.S. futures for the S&P 500 were down 0.1% and futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were flat, signaling potential movements at the opening bell.
European Market Performance
In Europe, the Stoxx Europe 600 experienced a 0.3% increase during morning trading. Notable gainers included Scatec, which added 6.7%, and Andritz, which rose by 6%. On the contrary, A.P. Moeller-Maersk B slipped 9.3%, and Uniper lost 3.5%. The FTSE 100 also registered a 0.3% increase. Additionally, France’s CAC 40 increased by 0.2% while Germany’s DAX rose by 0.4%.
Stability in Currency
The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index remained flat at 100.26.
Commodity Update
In the commodities market, Brent crude climbed 0.5% to $87.30 a barrel, while WTI crude rose 0.7% to $83.05 a barrel.
Bond Yields
The German 10-year Bund yield held steady at 2.723%. On the other hand, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury rose by 1 basis point to 4.673% from 4.663%. It’s important to note that bond prices and yields move in opposite directions.
Asian Market Movement
